Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Décio Rola made the kick off and thus started the match. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Décio Rola's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Sjötorp IF's goalkeeper Roger Fagrell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roger Fagrell quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 12 minutes of play, Sjötorp IF's Décio Rola made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Décio Rola in the 20th minute of play. Décio Rola took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Robert Andersson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Décio Rola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Fagrell was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Décio Rola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sjötorp IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Décio Rola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roger Fagrell was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 36 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Décio Rola in the 38th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Décio Rola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Décio Rola scored 2-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Décio Rola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Décio Rola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Décio Rola notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Sjötorp IF were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Roger Fagrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Sjötorp IF's Roger Fagrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Décio Rola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. Sjötorp IF's Roger Fagrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 69th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Qvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Sjötorp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Roger Fagrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Qvarnström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Décio Rola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Décio Rola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-7. Roger Fagrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 86th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Stefan Vennersten got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-8. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Décio Rola got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Sjötorp IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
