Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Trigo in the 11th minute of play. A.K.Sh Albania's Maximino Berto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 13th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Trigo in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Barnaba Pietras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.K.Sh Albania's Maximino Berto did a great save. Maximino Berto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Berto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. In the 59th minute Alesandro Nesta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Berto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 60th minute of the match. Maximino Berto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Tafalla's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Maximino Berto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Nertil Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Tafalla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maximino Berto. That made the score 0-2 in the 75 minute of play. Erald Spahiu's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erald Spahiu helped the player get up and apologised. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than A.K.Sh Albania.
