Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valerio Spadoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 6th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valerio Spadoni in the 8th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Valerio Spadoni got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valerio Spadoni in the 12th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ruperto Modestio sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Mendiko in the 23rd minute of play. Ariel Mourelatos came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Axel Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Alberto Abascal in the 33rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Mourelatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Carballar in the 35th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ariel Mourelatos. Amboy FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valerio Spadoni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Valerio Spadoni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amboy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Modestio in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Samuel Navarro got a free kick in the 59th minute. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Samuel Navarro hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's Ruperto Modestio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruperto Modestio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Mario Alberto Abascal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Mario Alberto Abascal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Alberto Abascal in the 78th minute of play. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Modestio in the 87th minute of play. Pascual Carballar came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ariel Mourelatos could save by the left post. In the 90th minute, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amboy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. A sloppy throw-in by Cornelio Rius in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Amboy FC had played much better football throughout.
