In the 97th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 龚浩云. 龚浩云 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 山东泰山队.
