Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Csanád Bács in the 6th minute of play. When the match had been going on for 12 minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Péter Simkó. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Csanád Bács in the 16th minute of play. Péter Simkó came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zoltán Bíró's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Péter Simkó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Péter Simkó when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Bálint Szarka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1866 Lokomotiv Kanizsa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thanos Kolompár was the one to do the kick off. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Péter Simkó having to make a save. When Luca Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Zorita couldn't finish the play. Zoltán Bíró's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Péter Simkó breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Péter Simkó having to interfere. In the 71st minute Thanos Kolompár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 73rd minute of play forced 1866 Lokomotiv Kanizsa's goalkeeper Péter Simkó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Péter Simkó having to interfere. 1866 Lokomotiv Kanizsa's Ádám Vass was substituted for Muhammet Dirican. 82 minutes into the match, 1866 Lokomotiv Kanizsa's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Péter Simkó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Zorita struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Péter Simkó didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
