Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Duško Turnšeks short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. HIT Gorica's Konstantin Pančur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 12th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by László Tar, made in the 14th minute of the game. Konstantin Pančur came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Duško Turnšek tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 24 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Secada. Brite McCready hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Konstantin Pančur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duško Turnšek, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Zlatko Goričan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konstantin Pančur saved HIT Gorica from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatko Goričan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 51st minute, Zlatko Goričan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HIT Gorica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Zlatko Goričan managed to get in a good position for a shot. HIT Gorica's supporters rose to their feet, but Zlatko Goričan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Istok Šabotić in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 66 minutes into the game, Istok Šabotić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 73 minutes into the game, HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. HIT Gorica made a substitution. Rastislav Tomič replaced Jernej Petrovič. In the 80th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match CJ Desailly sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Zlatko Goričan scored 4-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. HIT Gorica's Zlatko Goričan got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute Istok Šabotić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantin Pančur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Istok Šabotić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
