It was beautiful to see ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Tião Marinho in action when he in the 19th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 24 played minutes ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro Quirino. Jarell Hill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Finlay Stair in the 27th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Cássio Gaspar kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Jamaica's Finlay Stair suffered a sore foot after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Paulo Rocha during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo Rocha to maneuver through the defense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Paiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
