Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Cesaro in the 3rd minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Cordarrol came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitris Maropoulos hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Rafael Fix made a huge save. After 23 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Jenson Smith. Alex Palleschi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marco Day. USA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's goalkeeper Rafael Fix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. Dimitris Maropoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornelio Cesaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Fix made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Rafael Fix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Fix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Dimitris Maropoulos made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 54th minute of play forced Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's goalkeeper Rafael Fix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's Rafael Fix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 60th minute of play. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Maropoulos in the 61st minute of play. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. There was no doubt that USA were the better team. USA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
