Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Haszczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Haszczak came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo Vistruario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 8th minute of play. Amadeo Vistruario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeo Vistruario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 17th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Cepicó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Amadeo Vistruario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeo Vistruario. Amadeo Vistruario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 36 minutes into the match, Cepicó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Amadeo Vistruario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Macos Graciani hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The supporters of Cepicó FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Luque to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Cepicó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Amadeo Vistruario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marek Haszczak to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 58th minute of play forced Cepicó FC's goalkeeper Amadeo Vistruario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Marek Haszczak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cepicó FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marek Haszczak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cepicó FC's Amadeo Vistruario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Cepicó FC from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Cepicó FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Cepicó FC's Amadeo Vistruario managed to reach the ball for a save. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Haszczak in the 64th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cepicó FC's Amadeo Vistruario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 71st minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Cepicó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Amadeo Vistruario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Macos Graciani got a free kick in the 81st minute. Cepicó FC's Justo Mannuel was substituted for Marek Haszczak. The supporters of Cepicó FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Justo Mannuel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Justo Mannuel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 91stth minute of the game Justo Mannuel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Amadeo Vistruario in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
