ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Cássio Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Chicote in the 8th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Léo Nóbrega mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Léo Nóbrega hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Fernandinho Furtado hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, Enrique Paiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. Enrique Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Léo Nóbrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Paiva got free with Camilo Freixa in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Fontirroig to maneuver through the defense. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Gaspar having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Paiva to make the kick off. Enrique Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Fernandino got free with Cássio Gaspar in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Luís Paulo Hoffmann was substituted for Wesley Mendonça. The supporters of ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Madrid didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alfonso de la Cruz hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Bolivia's Mario Fernandino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cássio Gaspar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Paiva's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bolivia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
