Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasio Mbappè in the 31st minute of play. Stasio Mbappè scored 0-6 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of AVTK booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stasio Mbappè stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Stasio Mbappè got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 87 minutes into the game, Stasio Mbappè cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute, Stasio Mbappè made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz.
