Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Richmond Van Glabeeke to make the kick off. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco José Millán in the 55th minute of play. Gong Yong Nan made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Francisco José Millán stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Francisco José Millán tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Puerto de Sagunto CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. 顾瑜朋 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita came free and shot a quick shot against goal 86 minutes in the game, fortunately Gong Yong Nan had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 87th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Puerto de Sagunto CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matia Climent in the 90th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Puerto de Sagunto CF could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
