The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wanderson Sabóia during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Wanderson Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th minute André Vizitiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fan Guang Lin. Fan Guang Lin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. EngTULIO&Tupipano's Fan Guang Lin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save EngTULIO&Tupipano from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Vizitiu in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute Wanderson Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fan Guang Lin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. The audience was convinced that André Vizitiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because EngTULIO&Tupipano had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
