Kyle Davies recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Cox to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pelle Flinck in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pelle Flinck went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st match minute, Jämjö IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Wennerström to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the game, Pelle Flinck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute Pelle Flinck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kyle Davies made a kick off. Jämjö IFK's Pelle Flinck was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Pelle Flinck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Barrett having to make a save. Bruno Barrett stood somewhat misplaced when Pelle Flinck came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 59 minute. In the 62nd match minute, Jämjö IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludwig Waller to maneuver through the defense. Stanley Wallace sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68thth minute of the game Pelle Flinck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dan Bergstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanley Wallace in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Charles Cox hit a great ball. Curacao's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Pelle Flinck scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Barrett, making the score, 0-6. Jämjö IFK's Pelle Flinck was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 87th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Curacao booed when Jämjö IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Wennerström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Pelle Flinck sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. Jämjö IFK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
