The supporters of Vila Zumbi booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antoni Beninda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute Ferdi Kadıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoni Beninda having to interfere. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antoni Beninda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 24 minutes Vila Zumbi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Mexico's Alberto Tafalla getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maciej Marchlewicz in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vila Zumbi's Gildo Seco. Maciej Marchlewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Antoni Beninda in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Antoni Beninda came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Tafalla slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. With his leg Antoni Beninda managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 40 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Antoni Beninda. In the 43rd minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Antoni Beninda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Marchlewicz in the 44th minute of play. Guilherme Vianna's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guilherme Vianna helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vila Zumbi getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Guilherme Vianna hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maciej Marchlewicz was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vila Zumbi's Gildo Seco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 56th minute of play forced Vila Zumbi's goalkeeper Antoni Beninda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoni Beninda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antoni Beninda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 66th minute of the match. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Facundo Cadaval got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-0. 67 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 74th minute of play forced Vila Zumbi's goalkeeper Antoni Beninda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Kadıoğlu in the 84th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Antoni Beninda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Mexico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
