João Francisco Tinoco came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. João Francisco Tinoco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Grêmio RK75's João Francisco Tinoco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio RK75 from getting a goal against them. When Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grêmio RK75's goalie prevented a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Kaká Brasil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaká Brasil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Grêmio RK75's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nilton Lira in the 35th minute. João Francisco Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 39th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harold Tronconi in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

João Francisco Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Kaká Brasil fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Harold Tronconi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Francisco Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Tronconi, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Grêmio RK75's João Francisco Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harold Tronconi. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Brasil in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Grêmio RK75 were awarded a corner. Nilton Lira went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Grêmio RK75's corner Nilton Lira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dante Lacasa quite easily take care of the ball. In the 84th match minute, Grêmio RK75 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Abraão to maneuver through the defense. João Francisco Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Grêmio RK75 booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 90th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jaime Velloso. João Francisco Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Grêmio RK75's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Luca Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this João Francisco Tinoco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Grêmio RK75 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mexico.
