Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Absoliut the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Virginijus Balčaitis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Absoliut fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virginijus Balčaitis in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Virginijus Balčaitis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Virginijus Balčaitis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virginijus Balčaitis. 29 minutes into the game, Agatas Didžiulis threw the ball into play from the sideline. Virginijus Balčaitis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virginijus Balčaitis, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 35th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute of the match Algitas Dubauskas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virginijus Balčaitis in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Algitas Girkantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Algitas Girkantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cui Qing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Virginijus Balčaitis sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Agatas Didžiulis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Agatas Didžiulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Virginijus Balčaitis made the kick off in the second half. Cui Qing blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Virginijus Balčaitis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 58th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Secada to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Absoliut booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Absoliut's Algitas Girkantas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Absoliut's Naglis Guzas got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 81st minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virginijus Balčaitis in the 82nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Algitas Girkantas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Algitas Girkantas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robertas Sabaitis having to interfere. Naglis Guzas got a throw-in 90 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Agatas Didžiulis. Algitas Girkantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Absoliut had played much better football throughout.
