Diogo Calado took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Aston Villa F.C's Rodriguinho Miranda. Rodriguinho Miranda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aston Villa F.C's Rodriguinho Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Aston Villa F.C from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodriguinho Miranda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Rodriguinho Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Rodriguinho Miranda. Aston Villa F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Cristian Baiano lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Aparecido during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Panama booed when Aston Villa F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Panama's Rodriguinho Miranda threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miguel Miralles, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. When Panama's Tomas Berganza, in the 51st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Panama. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Rodriguinho Miranda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Berganza went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the match, Aston Villa F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Rodriguinho Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute of the game Matthew Garrido made a throw-in which Abraham Alguacil played forward. Alex Cambeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 79th minute of play forced Aston Villa F.C's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great ball. Aaron Barrios lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Panama! Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Kajetan Wolniewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Kajetan Wolniewicz made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-3. Isidoro Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Panama players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
