After having played for 20 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Seco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, José Francisco Cevallos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. INGOBERNABLE F.C's José Francisco Cevallos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save INGOBERNABLE F.C from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

José Francisco Cevallos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Gisbert went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 70 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of INGOBERNABLE F.C's José Francisco Cevallos. José Francisco Cevallos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Francisco Cevallos. José Francisco Cevallos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Francisco Cevallos was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot.
