Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 31 minutes into the game, Isaias Jakue cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isaias Jakue scored 7-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaias Jakue went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. After 43 minutes of play, Sporting Buceo's Isaias Jakue made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the game, Sporting Buceo's Yao Yan Sen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 10-0 at half-time.

With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Maximo Horquizar threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Costa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Isaias Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yao Yan Sen in the 60th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sporting Buceo:s goal. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Sporting Buceo. Charly Good stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. 11-0. Sporting Buceo's Maureen Franco was substituted for Yao Yan Sen. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Maureen Franco got a free kick in the 71st minute. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Maximo Horquizar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Charly Good managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Buceo's supporters rose to their feet, but Charly Good was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Xinto Carreiras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xinto Carreiras in the 84th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Xinto Carreiras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xinto Carreiras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. Venezuela's attentive Jose Correa managed to snatch the ball when Oscar Ruggeri made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Xinto Carreiras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Buceo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charly Good, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Joshua Secada hit a great freekick 100 minutes into the match. Sporting Buceo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
