With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Brack in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. Dorian Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th minute Dorian Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Vila Industrial FC's César Boldrini got control of the ball when Edward Mcdonald tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vila Industrial FC's goalkeeper César Boldrini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the USA defense, Roland Brack kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Brack in the 34th minute of play. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Valladares in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, USA's Cassius Byrne dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. A collision led to Vila Industrial FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Timmy Zander hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 42nd minute of play forced Vila Industrial FC's goalkeeper César Boldrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Cassius Byrne kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Dorian Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Vila Industrial FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but César Boldrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorian Valladares in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raphael Moore made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vila Industrial FC's Timmy Zander. After 63 minutes of play, Vila Industrial FC's Benedicto Obano made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th match minute, Vila Industrial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yao Song Kun to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Vila Industrial FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Yao Song Kun hit a great ball. Vila Industrial FC's César Boldrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 68th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedicto Obano. In the 88th minute Sam Campbell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Boldrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César Boldrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 90th minute of play. After 91 minutes Vila Industrial FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jenson Smith who took care of the corner kick. Jenson Smith made a great header on USA's corner, it was just that Vila Industrial FC's César Boldrini managed to reach the ball for a save. Vila Industrial FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over USA's much stronger midfield.
