Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cassius Byrne made the kick off which started today's match. Teobald Pyczkowski hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Cassius Byrne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vila Industrial FC's César Boldrini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vila Industrial FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Vila Industrial FC's goalie and right to Jenson Smith. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Vila Industrial FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Monty Rogers struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. César Boldrini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. 20 minutes into the match, USA's Monty Rogers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that César Boldrini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dorian Valladares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Vila Industrial FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roberto Cibran in the 27th minute. Vila Industrial FC's César Boldrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorian Valladares got free with Marco Day in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dorian Valladares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marco Day came out and tried to block the shot, but Dorian Valladares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. Dorian Valladares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Marco Day when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roland Brack to make the kick off. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Brack, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Roland Brack struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila Industrial FC. Vila Industrial FC's Benedicto Obano was substituted for Dorian Valladares. Vila Industrial FC's Jan-Erik Ryberg was substituted for Paulinho de Queiroz. Cassius Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Boldrini having to interfere. Benedicto Obano struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila Industrial FC. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. César Boldrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 73rd minute of play. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Vila Industrial FC's César Boldrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalid Parry in the 83rd minute of play. Raphael Moore made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vila Industrial FC's Timmy Zander. In the 91st minute of the match Vila Industrial FC got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roberto Cibran ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vila Industrial FC's Aleksandr Leonov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Day in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vila Industrial FC's Benedicto Obano. But to his dismay, Benedicto Obano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Vila Industrial FC could leave the field as winners, despite USA having more of the ball for most of the match.
