The supporters of Venezuela booed when Andarilhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Ramires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Jon Oblak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Severino Figueira made in the 19th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gonzalo Montiel however managed to control. After 20 minutes, Rigoberto Mina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Andarilhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot by Jorge Ruas from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Jonathan Ferrant's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Patrício Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trifon Katsoulis in the 25th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jon Oblak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Fu Han Qiang tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. The crowd rose to their feet as Andarilhos's Fu Han Qiang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Fu Han Qiang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Andarilhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fu Han Qiang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Fu Han Qiang sent off a good shot on target. After 47 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Gonzalo Montiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Fu Han Qiang made the kick off in the second half. When Andarilhos's Trifon Katsoulis in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. 57 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fu Han Qiang came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. Trifon Katsoulis took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Trifon Katsoulis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andarilhos's supporters rose to their feet, but Trifon Katsoulis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fu Han Qiang came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Trifon Katsoulis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 72nd minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Fu Han Qiang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 6-0 became the score in the 77th minute when Gonzalo Montiel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Fu Han Qiang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andarilhos's supporters rose to their feet, but Fu Han Qiang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rdth minute of the game Fu Han Qiang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was a penalty for Venezuela! Fu Han Qiang shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Andarilhos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
