Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Cătălin Gârniceanu. ÇETA FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Cătălin Gârniceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. ÇETA FK's Cătălin Gârniceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cătălin Gârniceanu was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Cătălin Gârniceanu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Virgil Stănoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ekrem Tapa came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

ÇETA FK's Cătălin Gârniceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save ÇETA FK from getting a goal against them. Cătălin Gârniceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Fernado in the 63rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Cătălin Gârniceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. ÇETA FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that ÇETA FK's Cătălin Gârniceanu managed to reach the ball for a save. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ekrem Tapa in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind.
