An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Negroni in the 26th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Belarmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Gavino Belarmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Negroni in the 36th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tytus Jaszcz got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tytus Jaszcz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Valentin Negroni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tytus Jaszcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Bengt-Arne Thedin struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Metapalo FC. 82 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Negroni came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Metapalo FC fully deserved thier win.
