After 2 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Filial Los Canarios's goalie prevented a goal. When Camilo Gaos fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Camilo Gaos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Filial Los Canarios booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Socorro came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Venezuela fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 26th minute, Julian Socorro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Ferrant, passed just outside the right post. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Arsenio Rudolfo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. 34 minutes into the match, Filial Los Canarios's Rogelio Quiroga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Blaire Keegan made in the 38th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Blaire Keegan however managed to control. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Filial Los Canarios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blaire Keegan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Formerio came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Julian Socorro took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 59th minute. Filial Los Canarios's Gonzalo Errando was substituted for Rogelio Quiroga. After 65 played minutes Filial Los Canarios got a freekick which was hit by Blaire Keegan. The supporters of Filial Los Canarios booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Julian Socorro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Errando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Ugartondo's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Ugartondo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Filial Los Canarios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Ugartondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Julian Socorro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Rudolfo in the 89th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Filial Los Canarios's Arsenio Rudolfo. But to his dismay, Arsenio Rudolfo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Filial Los Canarios were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
