Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ramiro Malta kicked off to start the match. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 5 played minutes Ramiro Malta rounded Ecuador's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Ramiro Malta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentim Magalhães having to interfere. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Valentim Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 26th minute Plácido Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Armando Neto sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, MLP's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Valentim Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MLP's Valentim Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to MLP getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Graciano Alves hit a great ball. Armando Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Valentim Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Saelices was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentim Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 52nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. MLP's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Valentim Magalhães, making the score, 1-1. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Valentim Magalhães to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Valentim Magalhães however easily saved by the left post. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Valentim Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes MLP got a freekick which was hit by Graciano Alves. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Malta came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MLP's Valentim Magalhães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save MLP from getting a goal against them. Armando Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3.
