Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 柯银雄 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but 柯银雄 slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 17th minute. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 23rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Luca Rouco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 毛景思 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 柯银雄 in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Gaona to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 45 played minutes 【AC】紅軍『铁血连』™NB got a freekick which was hit by 崔瑜林. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 杜风桑 in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 51stth minute of the game Joel Gaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 【AC】紅軍『铁血连』™NB's 毛景思 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 毛景思 was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Joel Gaona capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Gaona really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, 【AC】紅軍『铁血连』™NB's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but 毛景思 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 毛景思 having to interfere. 毛景思 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 77th minute. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Joel Gaona got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Danilo Neron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play.
