But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Dorval couldn't finish the play. Gesner Philippe fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 21st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Philippe Ambroise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philippe Ambroise struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. 曹斌志 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti. Haiti's Ernso Constant got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haiti's Rodney Emmanuel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by 孔政朋 in the 36 minute of the game. Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 高阳西 in the 40th minute of play. If Ernso Constant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gesner Philippe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. 曹斌志 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 温永文 to make the kick off. Haiti's attentive Felix Dorval managed to snatch the ball when 彭思云 made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. Philippe Ambroise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Gesner Philippe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 曹斌志 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ☆冰谷☆〓新势力〓阿布军团's zone, Ernso Constant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 曹斌志 came out of the goal and Ernso Constant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Philippe Ambroise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haiti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philippe Ambroise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, 吕悦笑 threw the ball into play from the sideline. Haiti's Felix Dorval quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Despite being the better team, Haiti failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
