Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Vicente Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Varela in the 12th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Shantala, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Adriano de Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriano de Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mexico booed when CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Osvaldo Shantala fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s protests and gave Osvaldo Shantala a yellow card for diving instead. Osvaldo Shantala hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Sydney Quirino hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 30 minutes of play CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Adriano de Brito was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Shantala in the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Emerson Leão in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emerson Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 39th minute. After 40 minutes of play, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Dawid Iwaszko made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute Osvaldo Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Mexico players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ were winning 0-1.

After having played for 54 minutes, Sydney Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sydney Quirino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Facundo Cadaval struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Emerson Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Emerson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Luca Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Luiz Bizet fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s protests and gave Luiz Bizet a yellow card for diving instead. Luiz Bizet kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match.
