Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cleto Walme to make any attempt to save it. In the 15th minute Matias Txeru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleto Walme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 18th minute. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Cleto Walme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 23rd minute. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Cleto Walme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Txeru, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cleto Walme. Alberto Tafalla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 45 minutes into the match, Duffensores Springfield's goalkeeper Cleto Walme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luca Zorita. In the 46th minute, Honorato Pirmin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Matias Txeru made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cleto Walme saved Duffensores Springfield from getting behind. Joel Gaona scored 4-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cleto Walme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Walme having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleto Walme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. Salvador Aresti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Honorato Pirmin charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Pirmin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Honorato Pirmin kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Duffensores Springfield's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Walme came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Facundo Cadaval in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleto Walme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Duffensores Springfield. Americo Erlantz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dante Lacasa. 5-1. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes Duffensores Springfield got a freekick which was hit by Maciej Haszczak. Duffensores Springfield's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
