Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Ecuador's Felix Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hugo Rodrigues in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Felix Montes put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hugo Rodrigues. Jeremias Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 16th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Rodrigues having to interfere. Ramon Del Piero hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Seco in the 25th minute of the match. Hugo Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. After 45 played minutes, Meninos De Cotia's Ramon Del Piero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Meninos De Cotia reached it. After 47 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ramon Del Piero who took care of the corner kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ademir Soares made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ademir Soares came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ademir Soares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 55th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Rodrigues. Meninos De Cotia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Hugo Rodrigues in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th match minute, Meninos De Cotia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Corderro to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Rodrigues having to interfere. Hugo Rodrigues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Hugo Rodrigues made a huge save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Seco in the 78th minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Rodrigues was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Ramon Del Piero came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Meninos De Cotia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Del Piero couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Meninos De Cotia getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Faustin Ostermann hit a great ball. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Meninos De Cotia throughout the match.
