Real Madrid's Linus Vaksdal pulled a muscle in his leg after 2 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Michal Burufski's late challenge caught a Real Madrid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michal Burufski helped the player get up and apologised. Real Madrid's Zygmunt Burowski was substituted for Linus Vaksdal. When Fu Tian Nan fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Madrid's protests and gave Fu Tian Nan a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Fu Tian Nan. Ricardinho Dantas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteban Beti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Ali Nejat Özertem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Buczko in the 7th minute of the match. Aitor Cintron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Esteban Beti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aitor Cintron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Esteban Beti made a huge save. Ricardinho Dantas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Esteban Beti skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After taking down the ball on Colombo A.C.'s corner Adrien Caillol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Esteban Beti quite easily take care of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Real Madrid:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Colombo A.C.:s goal. Esteban Beti had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Adrien Caillol's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ali Nejat Özertem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Burowski in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Madrid's goalkeeper Esteban Beti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Colombo A.C. were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Real Madrid's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adrien Caillol took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Ricardinho Dantas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Ricardinho Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Madrid's Esteban Beti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Dantas in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Adam Seng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Nejat Özertem was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With an all-out effort, Colombo A.C.'s Esteban Beti threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aitor Cintron, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The corner led Colombo A.C.'s Adrien Caillol to fire away a dangerous shot which Esteban Beti despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aitor Cintron was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Lucjan Burowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Madrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombo A.C. the free kick. Esteban Beti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardinho Dantas's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid's zone, Julian Tomporowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Beti came out of the goal and Julian Tomporowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colombo A.C. made a substitution. Alfredo Meireles replaced Adrien Caillol. After 62 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Burowski. In the 63rd minute, Lucjan Burowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Şehzade Faydalı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombo A.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of Colombo A.C. booed when Real Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilbert Montoya didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes Colombo A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Aitor Cintron. After some careless play in the Real Madrid defense, Ricardinho Dantas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban Beti. The Real Madrid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Beti should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Burowski in the 74th minute of play forced Colombo A.C.'s goalkeeper Ali Nejat Özertem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Colombo A.C.'s Ricardinho Dantas in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Madrid's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zygmunt Burowski in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Nejat Özertem saved Colombo A.C. from getting behind. Ali Nejat Özertem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Seng in the 85th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Fulgencio Fero in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombo A.C.'s Şehzade Faydalı. Ricardinho Dantas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteban Beti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Real Madrid players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Colombo A.C..
