If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Serafin Ugaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 57th minute of play forced Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goalkeeper Serafin Ugaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Serafin Ugaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafin Ugaitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Cacomixtles de Queretaro fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Gustav Sefastsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 96 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Uruguay supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cacomixtles de Queretaro's performance.
