The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mariano Lacasa got the match started through his kick off. El Vigia FC's Azeari Velamines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 6th minute of play. After some careless play in the El Vigia FC defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Azeari Velamines. The El Vigia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Azeari Velamines should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Mangueira got free with Thiago Pliego in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidio Froylan. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Azeari Velamines read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Patrick Mangueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. In the 26th match minute, El Vigia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dani Warren to maneuver through the defense. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. After 36 played minutes El Vigia FC got a freekick which was hit by Dani Warren. 43 minutes into the match, El Vigia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Azeari Velamines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Mangueira in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Vigia FC's Lluis Lasaca got a free kick in the 46th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

53 minutes into the game, Patrick Mangueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dani Warren got a throw-in 56 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Inacio Garrote. In the 61st minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Azeari Velamines was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Chile fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Chile's Mariano Lacasa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Azeari Velamines. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. 82 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Azeari Velamines narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Azeari Velamines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, El Vigia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Froylan to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Carballar hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Patrick Mangueira notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The El Vigia FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chile were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
