Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Illescas made the kick off which started today's match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Macias in the 3rd minute of play. Modesto Santikurtz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 11th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Jairo Kiliz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Macias in the 14th minute of play. Diego Armando Lio kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adan Piarres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bello Tajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Tomas Illescas sped through Diego Eterno's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Modesto Santikurtz. After 44 minutes of play, Diego Eterno's Joel Macias made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Macias made a kick off. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a Diego Eterno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Modesto Santikurtz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Jairo Kiliz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Diego Eterno's Modesto Santikurtz got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Kiliz in the 86th minute of the match. Diego Eterno's Modesto Santikurtz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 88th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Kiliz came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Diego Eterno.
