Ricardinho Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Albert Flintașu in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Ricardinho Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 6th minute of play. Tornadele Siret's Ricardinho Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 13th minute of play. The Tornadele Siret fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Tornadele Siret's Aquilino Ponte looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Albert Flintașu made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. Ricardinho Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 25th minute of play forced Tornadele Siret's goalkeeper Ricardinho Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Zygmunt Zurawski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Aquilino Ponte got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-4. 81 minutes into the match. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 84th minute, Antonio Tenorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Gallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Rafael Gallo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
