Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, 【齐鲁足球】兵圣●孙武's Candido Olo got a free kick in the 19th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Xiong Tian, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Xiong Tian in the 36th minute of the match. If Yao Jie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 何林晨 having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Candido Olo made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but 何林晨 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 【齐鲁足球】兵圣●孙武's 楚然星 was substituted for 邱海克. After a rather tough play, 【齐鲁足球】兵圣●孙武's 姚枫银 got a free kick in the 64th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with 何林晨 in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of 【齐鲁足球】兵圣●孙武 booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Candido Olo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Luis Andino fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Luis Andino a yellow card for diving instead.
