Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Whity Pool United's Syd Ely. But to his dismay, Syd Ely quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Charis Vlastaras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Charis Vlastaras made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Melani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Whity Pool United's Angelo Melani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 54th minute of play. In the 65th minute of the game Henry Soussan made a throw-in which Syd Ely played forward. Sebastian Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Melani having to make a save. Lautaro Navarro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Charis Vlastaras showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 81 minute of play. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charis Vlastaras in the 85th minute of play. Whity Pool United were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Honduras's much stronger midfield.
