After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Raí Sabóia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Raí Sabóia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 51st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, 孟政朋 notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 周振鹏 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 孟政朋 in the 61st minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Daniel Podwojski made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. A sloppy throw-in by 陶银亮 in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Jose Correa. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 79thth minute of the game 雷飞朋 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Sabóia in the 89th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 孟政朋 went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score.
