Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Cayetano Montez made the kick off and thus started the match. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelito Vivar in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Brandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Montez in the 8th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Marchena hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Tomas Brandt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes Alianza Trujillo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Pedro Indiano was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 18 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Tomas Brandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Montez in the 19th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Alianza Trujillo got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Luc Picard. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Cayetano Montez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Cayetano Montez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelito Vivar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Alianza Trujillo were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Szilveszter Szegh took the corner. 37 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cayetano Montez. In the 43rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Brandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Montez came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Cayetano Montez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Jean-Luc Picard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Jean-Luc Picard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Cayetano Montez notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alianza Trujillo made a substitution. Olly Morgan replaced Marcelito Vivar. Alianza Trujillo's Tomas Brandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 75th minute of play. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ramon Martino sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. 86 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Tomas Brandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Casaus might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomas Brandt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orlando Casaus ran back to his position shaking his head. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Martino in the 95th minute of play. Alianza Trujillo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
