With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Platini in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 20th minute of the match Rembertów DJs got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wieslaw Bielatowicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wladyslaw Rzeszutek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Rembertów DJs's Wieslaw Bielatowicz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Platini in the 24th minute. Wladyslaw Rzeszutek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 25thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rembertów DJs's Wladyslaw Rzeszutek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Platini in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel Platini's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. With an all-out effort, Rembertów DJs's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomasz Ryback, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Wladyslaw Rzeszutek made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wladyslaw Rzeszutek having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Wieslaw Bielatowicz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Platini in the 61st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Michel Platini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that D.J. Bambini-Adam couldn't finish the play. Wladyslaw Rzeszutek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Platini in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the match, Michel Platini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michel Platini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Rembertów DJs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kazimierz Tyski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Platini, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, D.J. Žaba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Rembertów DJs's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
