Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Charis Vlastaras made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Rubio during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Whity Pool United's Henry Soussan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Benito Sanz but with some difficulty. 7 minutes into the match, Whity Pool United's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Angelo Melani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Nicholson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Whity Pool United's Angelo Melani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 13th minute of play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Whity Pool United's Syd Ely. But to his dismay, Syd Ely quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 22nd minute of the match Colin Carr shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lautaro Puig's late challenge caught a Whity Pool United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lautaro Puig helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Charis Vlastaras took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to Whity Pool United getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Waclaw Kaczanek hit a great ball. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th match minute, Whity Pool United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicholas Downham to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Alcocer's late challenge caught a Whity Pool United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Alcocer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Whity Pool United's Charis Vlastaras dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Whity Pool United's Angelo Melani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Whity Pool United from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Charis Vlastaras put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charis Vlastaras in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Charis Vlastaras sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. 69 minutes into the match, Charis Vlastaras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charis Vlastaras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Angelo Melani in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute Charis Vlastaras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Waclaw Kaczanek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Whity Pool United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 84th minute Syd Ely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charis Vlastaras, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 86 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charis Vlastaras in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute Whity Pool United were awarded a corner. Henry Soussan went to the cornerflag to take it. Henry Soussan made a great header on Whity Pool United's corner, it was just that Costa Rica's Benito Sanz managed to reach the ball for a save. 93 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Charis Vlastaras came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Whity Pool United had played much better football throughout.
