Thanks to some nice moves Marcelito Vivar could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Pedro Manzanares however easily saved by the left post. Pedro Manzanares didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Tomas Brandt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Tomas Brandt threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alianza Trujillo's Tomas Brandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 67th minute of play. Alianza Trujillo made a substitution. Ramon Martino replaced Cayetano Montez. Alianza Trujillo's Pudes Vilas was substituted for Christian Kabasele.
