Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After 4 played minutes LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. got a freekick which was hit by Walery Niedziela. In the 5th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s Rigoberto Leoncio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play. Rigoberto Leoncio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Tobias Elequemedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rigoberto Leoncio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Leoncio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Benat to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play forced LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s goalkeeper Rigoberto Leoncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Leoncio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Walery Niedziela reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-0. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Leoncio having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. After 45 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilberto Astrada who took care of the corner kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Tipi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Camilo Gisbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 53 minutes into the match, LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s goalkeeper Rigoberto Leoncio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Rodrigo Tipi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s Rigoberto Leoncio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Ticho in the 63rd minute of the match. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Rigoberto Leoncio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rigoberto Leoncio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 72nd minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Rigoberto Leoncio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rigoberto Leoncio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rigoberto Leoncio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Walery Niedziela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nemesio Dunixi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Rigoberto Leoncio threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luis Andino did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Rigoberto Leoncio 84 minutes into the match. Aldo Ticho kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ovidio Benat kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Rigoberto Leoncio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
