Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Celestino Froila got the match started through his kick off. Rigoberto Leoncio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Tobias Elequemedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Tobias Elequemedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigoberto Leoncio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Rigoberto Leoncio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 19th minute, but Julio Vera got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Ecuador hanging dry this time. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Gaizko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rigoberto Leoncio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Leoncio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Alvaro Senon hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Froila came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Aldo Ticho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Aldo Ticho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Leoncio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 61st minute Tobias Elequemedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Gaizko to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Leoncio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s Nemesio Dunixi got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s Rodrigo Tipi in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. The LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s Rodrigo Tipi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 92ndth minute of the game Rodrigo Tipi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
