When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jacobo Azevedo to make any attempt to save it. Trocha Media FC's Jacobo Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Trocha Media FC from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the game, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Rufio in the 14th minute of the match. Jacobo Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abraham Alguacil went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Jacobo Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Jacobo Azevedo made a huge save. When Miguel Miralles fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Miguel Miralles a yellow card for diving instead. Miguel Miralles hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Dylan Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siro Orti's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siro Orti helped the player get up and apologised. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacobo Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 32nd minute. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Rufio in the 34th minute of play. When Isidoro Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 37th minute of play forced Trocha Media FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Trocha Media FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Jacobo Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Sarmiento got free with Jacobo Azevedo in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Trocha Media FC defense, Alex Cambeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Azevedo. The Trocha Media FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Azevedo should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Rufio, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Jacobo Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Hustaz kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Azevedo having to interfere. Trocha Media FC's Jacobo Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 61st minute of play forced Trocha Media FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthew Garrido during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Matthew Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Llin in the 64th minute. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Panama's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
