Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anastasio Goren ran over to the corner to take the kick. Anastasio Goren made a great header on La Mitad Mas Uno's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso managed to reach the ball for a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Baldomero Silvino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anastasio Goren went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Kauã Nóbrega hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Anastasio Goren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anastasio Goren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With a little luck, La Mitad Mas Uno's Sálvio Ramalho got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Kauã Nóbrega ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Maximiliano Escribano came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Escribano couldn't finish the play. A collision led to La Mitad Mas Uno getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Florencio Avellaneda hit a great ball. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Sálvio Ramalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Maximiliano Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When La Mitad Mas Uno's Kauã Nóbrega in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 85th minute Anastasio Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomero Silvino got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Kauã Nóbrega. Kauã Nóbrega hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 92ndth minute Jaime Cazalla easily got through La Mitad Mas Uno's defense and fired away a shot, but Sálvio Ramalho leaped left and performed a fabulous save. After a long run with the ball, Jaime Cazalla did a trick in the 92nd minute in front of La Mitad Mas Uno's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 3-2. An impressive performance by Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla! The La Mitad Mas Uno players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
