Monumento Sports's Chaman Do Bonde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 10th minute of play. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Mathias Camargo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monumento Sports's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 53 played minutes Monumento Sports got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Camargo. The long shot by Daniel Zorita in the 53rd minute really tested Chaman Do Bonde's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Davi Vianna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute Davi Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Monumento Sports's Chaman Do Bonde got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Monumento Sports's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Chaman Do Bonde despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Chaman Do Bonde however easily saved by the left post. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chaman Do Bonde having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucca Gol in the 77th minute of play. Lucca Gol took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Monumento Sports's Dieguinho Sá was substituted for Dé Gomes. Monumento Sports made a substitution. Zé Pedro Coelho replaced Tombolo Wa Kadima De Las Cuevas. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Magalhães in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Monumento Sports got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In the 92nd minute Henrique Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Chaman Do Bonde made a huge save. Ecuador played a much better game than Monumento Sports and deserved their victory. The Monumento Sports players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
