Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaw Erland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Mazzola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th match minute, Fc Aroosos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szczepan Gdowik to maneuver through the defense. Luz Tejedor might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Mazzola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luz Tejedor ran back to his position shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustaw Erland to make the kick off. Bernardo Mazzola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Wlodzimierz Bentkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luz Tejedor took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Mazzola. Bernardo Mazzola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Aroosos's goalkeeper Bernardo Mazzola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Bernardo Mazzola made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Fc Aroosos's Gustaw Erland got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Mazzola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fc Aroosos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Despite this Bernardo Mazzola quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaw Erland in the 81st minute of the match. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Tenorio in the 93rd minute of play forced Fc Aroosos's goalkeeper Bernardo Mazzola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Mazzola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Tenorio's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaw Erland in the 95th minute of the match. Bernardo Mazzola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Tenorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fc Aroosos succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Peru had controlled the match.
